Did I make a mistake purchasing a locked at&t device? - Where can I get the unlock code

try sosogsm, it supports clean imeis only that do not start with 3572. also make sure the phone is asking for PIN network code and not PUK network code.cheers

Starting December 5, AT&T's unlock policy changed. If you go to their new unlock website, you can see there is now an option for people to unlock their phones if they don't have an AT&T account. It's just required that it's not lost, stolen, etc... or not currently active on another AT&T users account. Now you can go buy one and submit the unlock request online. If that doesn't work, just try calling customer service and tell them the website is not working for you and they'll submit the unlock request for you. I'm using an unlocked 830 from AT&T on T-Mobile now ;-)
