Do I switch from Lumia 620 to 630?

Hey. I've been using Lumia 620 for 10 months. And since the Lumia 630 has released people have given good reviews about it. So I was wondering if it would be better to switch to Lumia 630.
Do you guys say I should switch?
Feedback ASAP.

Yea its nice but you will have to sacrifice flash light, there is no dedicated camera button and even no front camera. But you get better processor with 4.5 inch screen and mainly much better battery than 620

Nope, the 630 is simply not a viable upgrade from the 620. I would wait for the 730, just cause-
1. Your phone is only 10 months old, use it for some more time
2. 630 is more like an upgrade from 520
3. 512 MB ram, I cannot stress more on how bad this is if you are a gamer, but fine if you're a casual user
4. No flash
5. No front cam
6. No dedicated cam button

Overall it is your choice, but from my side it is a definite no-no

P.S. I hope you mean Lumia

If it were me, I'd stick with the 620 and wait for a higher-end model to come along.

I've upgraded from the 620 to the 630 and it's been worth it. The bigger screen, faster processor and bigger battery all make it worth it. I didn't mind lack of flash or front facing camera, and the lack of sensors is not an issue at all for me. It does depend on your needs though. I suggest you go and have a look at one in person to really appreciate it. The screen is gorgeous!

It's worth it, and I say this as a former 620 owner.

Advantages are obvious. Cyan firmware means you have a relatively polished experience early on, the battery life is fantastic relative to the 620, and the software buttons aren't as bad as they sound.

That said, I'm beginning to feel more and more that this was a replacement for the 625.

Don't do it. It's a trap! Wait for the 730 or something. (it should have 1gb ram)

@David P2 - same here!!

@123gettothechopper - Is it true that the glance screen is gone for all devices with 512 MB RAM running 8.1?

I've actually changed my mind since I posted that reply... bumping up to the 1520 for a little extra lol. Shouldn't need an upgrade for a looooong time I think.

No you should not because 620 has glance screen(I don't know but Nokia site says about it:http://www.nokia.com/in-en/support/faq/?action=singleTopic&topic=FA141614)....
Also the better camera on 620...so, don't switch to 630..

Glance, Clearblack screen, double tap to wake, NFC, front camera, camera flash, hardware buttons. Only thing it doesn't have I guess is an FM radio (something to do with the headphone connector being attached to the case or something). Instead 620 users got NFC.

Nope . My 620 is on 8.1 and has glance. It's purely a hardware thing, not software. That's why the 630 doesn't have it (since it's hardware isn't capable). 8.1 phones with 512mb should have glance if the device has hardware that's capable of supporting it.

On another note, I'm also curious about if the 630 has HAAC mics? I feel like that's another thing that will be lost by "upgrading" from the 620...

Relieved to hear that! 😊 Yes, the 630 lacks a proximity sensor.

No!! Unless you really value better battery life and a bigger screen.

630 is an upgrade to the 520, not to the 620.

Don't! The only upgrade there is the quad core chipset. Best get a 1 gb ram device. I recently switched from a 720 to a 925.
