Do you have iPhone envy ?

Same here! especially a bright yellow 920!
only envy of iPhone because of App Store and maybe the beautiful body. other than that, nothing special about icon grids.
iPhones are also too small. I won't use any phone smaller than 4.5" or bigger than 5"

But...but, 720 and 920 have the best and most beautiful bodies out there.

LMAO @ Iphone envy. Under powered, too small, out dated girlish OS, bad camera and way over priced. Anyone that would want to envy that doesn't deserve a windows phone.

I've actually spent the weekend playing around with an iPhone 4S and iOS 7.1. It was intended to be an experiment/learning experience in order to stay on top of the competitive advantages of the each platform.

Functionally, however, I've come to realize there's really not that much different about them anymore (beyond the app gap at least), and I think WP 8.1 closes the OS feature gap significantly... it may even surpass iOS in a lot of critical ways.

That said, there's lots of little things about WP that I work around or overlook, and I'm sure with time I'd feel the same about iOS. For example, I HATE the iOS keyboard, and I mean that with the fire of 1000 suns. On the other hand, I hate the lack of a "control bar" on WP just as much, but that's coming in WP 8.1, so no reason to be jealous.

If there's something to be envious about, it's the app gap, but now that Windows and Windows Phone are going to start sharing apps, I have a feeling Microsoft will finally gaining big traction here.

No iEnvy here at all - except for the quick updates they get. IPhones are very common where I live - so they're nothing special here. I find them not bad, quite good even, but: 1) I loathe iTunes 2) iPhones are too small for me and 3) WP was love at first sight.
Of course, there are always the newest and latest apps and much more accessories, but most times I don't care about them.

My first smart phone was the iPhone 3 or 3G, whatever the first iPhone was. After that, it's been what I can afford. Do I have iPhone-envy? A little. For the most part, the apps and games that are not available on the WP, but it's not a killer.
However, my co-workers (sales and management) are jealous of my WP and it's possibilities versus their iPhones. Mostly Office and the cloud. The WP has better support for what I need, work and life-stuff

Here in Finland most ppl who has iPhone are 8-15 year old girls. It's a trend here, which I don't and won't be part of. Of course some people uses it as work phone, but mostly teenagers.

Nope. iPhone is boring, fact. My friend has a new iPhone 5s and yesterday I played with it like 5 minutes. I was like, so what interesting can I do, I opened camera app, swiped up for shortcuts and down for notification centre and I was bored. There is nothing new.

So what other "interesting things" can you do on Windows Phone that you can?t do on the iPhone? On the other hand, why such strong feelings about your phone choice. I choose iOS becuase it works for me. You guys choose WP because it works for you. What?s the big deal? What does it matter to other people? I don?t get it.

Nope .. My dad owns an iPhone 5s and I really can't see why he loves it ( he ONLY use it for calls and texts, maybe some news apps).
I spend a lot of time using this phone, the app selection is nothing short than spectacular! And the OS is stable and easy to use. But really can't feel that I need this phone.

He was bored by the iPhone. I don't think of boredom as a particularly strong feeling.

True. What I find interesting though is that although some WP dislike iOS, their differences are almost totally aesthetic. Of all mobile OSs iOS and WP are probably the most similar. Both are very controlled ecosystems, which goes along with systems that are stable and work rather well.

That's why I asked what "interesting" things can be done on WP? It's an honest question. I am not being sarcastic.

I don't envy anything about iphones but it can be pretty annoying when everyone is looking at your phone like it's from Mars :P

Occasionally, I'll wish I had access to some of the apps on iOS (and Android), such as several medical apps. Most of the apps I need are available on WP8, although some (e.g. Skype) need to be improved. The cameras on the iPhone 4 and up tend to produce very good pictures. My Nexus 5 produces decent photos, and I'm still testing out my 820. My wife has a 4, and her pics are very nice despite her lack of knowledge of photography. Otherwise, I have no burning desire to get an iPhone.

Now, I do have some Moto X2 envy. I'm looking forward to the next iteration.

I like that I can send and receive files via bluetooth (cannot do that with iOS), drag/drop music/ringtones (not on iOS although music can be drag/dropped with 3rd party program Copy Trans), FM radio support (maybe more of a hardware issue than software). Another nice feature is that I can stream music from my phone to my laptop running Vista via bluetooth. I can't remember if my iPhone 3G was able to do this as well. Android has the best filesystem as ES File Explorer or an app like Air Droid can allow wireless transfer of files.

I have an iPad mini w/retina and its a really good tablet. I mostly have it because of the form factor and the ecosystem. I much prefer WP as a mobile OS and really enjoy my Lumia Icon. Its smooth and fast and the aesthetic of the tiles just feels better to me than the static folders of iOS 7.

Interesting. So it all boils down to what each person needs. I haven't transferred a file via Bluetooth since I had a dumb phone. Usually I transfer files via chat email and other such means. I use a music streaming music, and any other music I have I bought so transfer is via the source. I do agree iOS needs a file system, I enjoy that on my android devices, but I haven't had its need on iOS lately.

Easier ringtone transfer. Now that's something I would like on iOS. But it's not enough for a platform change.

I use iOS because of the plethora of specialty apps I use daily, and it's easier availability of Google apps. I most certainly don't use it because if popularity and elevated ego issues. :). In fact where I live android is the os of choice and these android users tend to let everyone know that they use the best platform and everything else is a waste of time. Sad.
