Do you love coffee?

I love my coffee strong and black -except for an occasional no-whip, double-shot mocha :smile-, and I always have a backup pound or two. But, I couldn't respond 'yes", because I'm fine going without as well.

I love coffee. It's gotta be espresso based.

The thread title reminds me of the Metalocalypse Duncan Hills Jingle. Do you folks like coffee?!

I love caf? au laits in the morning as I rush to the office, and either a doppio, a macchiato, or a caf? cubano during the work day. Once afternoon hits, though, I usually move to teas, or teas steeped in milk, London Fog style.

A hot day in Fremont today. Enjoying some iced coffee at my friend's place.

I think it's not fair to charge for coffee. Being that it is as essential to life as air to breathe, I think it should be free like air.

Coffee is love. Coffee is life. I can't live without coffee. Life without coffee isn't worth living

I like a cup of Nescaf? with a sugar (or two ) and some milk

Re: Do you like coffee ?

I really like coffee. Do I love it? I like coffee, I love my wife. ;) If I had to give one up, I'd miss coffee.

I drink on average 6 cups of coffee per day, but switch to decaf after the 2nd cup.

I also wait 2 hours after waking up before I get a cup. It maximizes the coffee's benefits to my system. My wife would have to explain why. She's the Registered Dietitian and Nutrition expert. Drinking it too soon after waking can actually make you crash in 2 hours and you'll need more all day long, never feeling rested properly. So, I take my wife's advice, who is a professional. I exercise first thing in the morning, and that's how I wake myself up. By the time I've exercised and showered, I have no NEED for the coffee, but I like it, so I have it after breakfast anyway.

How does everyone feel about coffee filters? I've noticed people who use those "permanent" filters that have the wire mess in the plastic basket, and I won't drink their coffee. Makes it bitter because it doesn't filter well. I have to have the paper filters. Problem is, making a pot of coffee 4 to 5 times per day, the paper filter usually falls down several times per week, causing grounds in the coffee. So I came up with a solution for that problem. I took a permanent filter, used a box cutter to remove the mesh, and use it as an insert to the paper filter. It holds the paper filter in place and the paper filters no longer fall over.

Cutting away the mesh makes it easier to clean up, and when you make 4 to 5 pots of coffee per day, you want easier clean up. ;)

Hope the idea helps another coffee "liker". Sorry, can't say coffee lover, because like I started out saying. I like coffee, I love my wife. Have to have SOME perspective in life. ;)

This about sums it up...
