Does playing games like temple run 2 and subway surfers reduce the battery life of lumia 520?

I'm fond of playing games on my phone but sometimes i hesitate to play games...i've a fear that excess of playing games will reduce the battery life of my phone....tell me plzzzzz can i play games when i want or should i do care in this case?

Playing games = using the screen and touch sensors longer, running the processor more, activating the auxiliary sensors more etc. than if the phone is simply idle, which means more power consumption and shorter charge cycle times (shorter battery life*). The question is if you're comfortable with the shorter charge cycle time you'll have as a result of playing those games.

*- Not to be confused with "battery lifetime", which is the period (usually months or years) when which the battery can be successfully charged and discharged, after which the battery can no longer be substantially recharged as a result of irreversible chemical damage.

Hi frnd I use Lumia 520 and I use it rough, I love to play games with music on from my songs library and it doesn't effects so much as it effects to the android handsets, you can't do this with any android handset for long time, you

i played a Game Boy Advance emulator and finished the battery quickly

I play a lot on my 520 and did not notice any extreme battery drain. Of course it use more power than not playing, but condiderable better performance as it was on my previous android device, which was an SII.
