?Does the Intuos CTH-480 work on a Dell Venue 8 Pro?

I'd like to buy an Intuos CTH-480, but I'm not sure if my Dell Venue 8 Pro is able to power it as it needs a powered usb hub to recognize an external hard drive.
?Does anyone know if it works without a powered usb hub on de DV8P?
