Plugging in my 920 and it being another hard drive is a joy.

I don't really like Windows 8. It makes my computer slow. Thinking about downgrading.

If you're asking how WP8 works with Windows 7, then it works fine. I've been using Microsoft's new tool with no problems at all.

It will work with Windows 7.

Plugging it in as a "hard drive" works on Windows XP as well, but you can't use the software in that case.

Of course if you're still using Windows XP you probably have a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone and a cassette deck in your car so..
