Does Your 1520 Have the Touchscreen Sensitivity Issue (swipe detected as tap)?

I had it till March then one day i found an update and it fixed it. Since then it worked flawlessly.
Are you implying there are still users experiencing it on new devices?

Definitely still have issues, yes. Enough to be occasionally annoying, not enough to give up all the pluses that the device has.

I'm purely guessing here but I think that it is a combination of Nokia making it better + people getting used to it. For example I'll use mine for a few days and not really think about the occasional swipe/tap stumbles and then pick either my Wife's 1020 or the test/dev 822 I have and realize I NEVER have any swipe/tap problems with those phones.

This is definitely an issue - lots of swipes as taps on my 930 also. NEVER happens on my 920 with same apps.

Also only happens on Xbox Music, Video and Metrotube for me. Others seem unaffected.

I have the same issues. However, I tried use a wipe to clean the screen then install Glance Background. it seem to stable for couple days.

To get Glance Background, install "Lumia System Updater".

May be there is static build up under the screen.

Mine does this once in a while. It's pretty random when it happens too. I have a 1020 for work and one that I change my SIM card to once in a while and neither of them have this issue. It's only on my 1520

Glad I didn't see this poll before buying a 1520.3 a few weeks ago. But I'm a lucky one without the problem.

Bought a brandnew 1520 four weeks ago - issue is still very present even on new devices.

I had the same problem on one of my old Lumia, but i don't remember wich of them.

MIne's been sent in for repair three times! and the issue is still not resolved. Nice OS, shame about the crappy hardware.

I like WinPhone, but as I can't get a HTC One here with WP I think I'll just go back to Android...

Considering 1520 is not made anymore might suggest something! I don't see the tap issue, however I do get random behaviour, I pull it out of my case reboot and bend slightly and clear it 😊

I ended up getting a OnePlus One, which is a great phone by the way.

My 1520 is sitting in my 'junk' container here on the desk collecting dust, goodbye Lumia.
