Double tap to glance

Hi all,

The recent updates included (for lumia's) both double tap to wake and glance.
Before I begin I have not used either.

Wouldn't it be much easier if you had to double tap to see the clock?
Instead of hovering your hand above it like an *****?


What do you guys think about the new glance feature? Does it do it's job right?

i am not too bothered about it because L520 aint gonna get this feature in Amber update !!
