Downgrade from 8.1 to 8? (Lumia 625)

Upgraded an elderly relatives phone for them, now getting complaints about the people hub shortcut not being in the phone app (and by that I mean someone saying "you've broken it, it doesn't work properly anymore").

Its on 8.1 Update 1 I think, not yet on Cyan, is there anyway to get Nokia Recovery to somehow install 8.0?
