I dropped it in water, but i dried it out.. the battery is fine. I suspect that there is something wrong with the LCD display or the motherboard because I can plug it into my computer, and see all the files. It was vibrating when i charged it, but the power button stopped working because it stopped vibrating after I tried turning it on. But I could still adjust the volume, because when it was plugged into the computer it made noise. I know it is on because i can press the camera button and i took pictures-I saw them on the computer. The screen is fully dead however. Can i just replace the display, or is it a motherboard problem?

you still have moisture still in the phone, try wrapping it in paper towels and put in heating pad on low over night to drive out the moisture.

I had some luck with a soaked iphone by dipping it in isopropyl alcohol thoroughly and then leaving it in a low humidity air conditioned room for a few days to fully evaporate.

Place the phone in a bag of rice overnight, it will pull all the moisture out. This is very effective from past experience.
