eaking Surface Book from Sleep

When i try to wake my Surface Book from sleep using the trackpad, 9/10 it just lights up the keyboard and the screen never comes on and it all just find back down in 10 seconds (every now and then it does work). But if i use the power button to wake it,the device always is woken straight up. Anyone else experiencing this or know a solution?
