Easy Transfer and Roku

I use Easy Transfer to play back videos on my phone on another computer. But I want to know if anyone has had any success using a program like Easy Transfer to send video on a Roku. I know that the preferred method is to use DLNA or Miracast, but I have an old Roku and would prefer an actual Roku channel that would allow me to type in the IP address created by Easy Transfer.

I may be going about this an old way.

Plex turns your PC into a media server and with your Roku on the same WiFi network it is easy to stream to your TV from your PC.

Unfortunately, Plex no longer publishes an App for Windows phone so this may not fit your needs.

I send my video though easy transfer to Android and then send the same video from Android to the Roku using R-Cast. Its rudimentary, but it works. I use the Internet sharing feature of the 635 to create the hotspot.
