With EDGE and Bing an option people cannot change due to the limitations of W10 S, will the platform really see a lot of users?
The fact that Chrome has a lot of users and the lack of any browser on the Windows Store could prove to be a problem. Is this really a great move? Isn't it more like shoving Bing and EDGE down peoples throats?

People could use another browser if other devs bring html5/edge rendering compliant browsers to the store.

The default browser itself doesn't make a big deal of difference to most people, its the browser they click on to browse that is the one that matters to most people.

And if they did bring other browsers, those browsers could use another default search.

Obviously this encourages people to bring browsers to the store, chrome included (I'm sure they don't want to loose search volume)

As long as it's windows 10 S that is being used in USA only, then it wouldn't be much of an issue - reason being that Bing actually works pretty well in USA

For the rest of the world, Bing doesn't work so nice

But edge in W10S can still access google.com, right? You can't change the default but you can always type in the address

UC Browser is in the windows store, and I am sure you could set that to default to google.
