Hi All,

I am using Cricket Wireless SIM in my Lumia 950 XL. I do not see the option "Highest Connection Speed" under SIM settings. It looks like it takes LTE by default and I want to change it to 3G to have better singal for voice calls as I am connected to WIFI most of the time.

I tried ##3282#, but not sure what to do to enable the "Highest Connection Speed" setting.

Thanks for any tips.

when you go to settings > network > mobile and sim > sim settings > is the menu for highest connection speed accessible or greyed out?

It's there on my Lumia 950 XL DS unlocked...

I'm on version 10586.218

Is your phone "locked"? maybe some restriction by the SIM card inserted?

Mine is unlocked and I am on .218 too. It's surely something to do with Cricket/At&t network. I know people had issue in the past with older Lumia's and were able to fix the issue with field test.

Here's that screen on my unlocked 950 (dual SIM) with only my Cricket SIM inserted. As you can see, "network selection" shows "automatic" is selected, and it is grayed out. So apparently, Cricket doesn't allow that option:

I have TMobile in US and it gives me the option to select LTE, 4G, or 2G. Just like Penecho's picture above. Must be a cricket thing.
