I have 230GB drive E with two shortcuts to other disks and single directory DVB. It contains some 215GB TV recordings from DVBViewer service.
When I try to open the directory E:\DVB from the PC, explorer crashes. Every. Time.

The drive is shared in local network as video.
When I try to access the directory \\somePC\video\DVB from another PC, there is no problem viewing files.
When I try to access the directory \\somePC\video\DVB from the PC itself, there is no problem viewing files. (Therefore I created shortcut through the share on desktop.)
Command prompt on E:\DVB is also fine. I haven't tested if file select dialog can access the directory. Kodi can access the directory and files.

Why direct directory listing is failing while directory listing though share is working? Is there any solution to this?

I already ran CCleaner to get rid of registry entries pointing to removed programs etc. Reinstalling Windows, installing shady tools or formatting the drive will not do ;)
