Extremely disappointed in Microsoft/Nokia Care service

The key bit being "if you had warranty on it". Which applies to the original owner only (in most places).

warranty applies to the device, and obviously i have a legit prove of purchase so IM now the OWNER of the DEVICE.
had numerous apple devices WITH original warranty that came with the device, and customer services taken care of me without a problem.

my point is that IM willing to pay for the repairs but they wont even take it in to run diagnostics..
