Extremely slow USB transfer speed.

Is it just my Surface Book that has an extremely slow transfer speed?

I'm copying a 4GB file to a USB 3.0 flash and the transfer takes about 15 minutes. (Both USB ports). I then plug the same stick into a 2 year old Macbook Pro and the file transfers in less than 1 min. All my drivers are up to date and the OS itself is up to date.

So the question is, what is going on with my USB transfer speed?

It is not just you. Mine transfers slowly as well.

Might have something to do with the file going through the dock and then to the tablet. It is not a continuous transfer since these are 2 separate pieces.
