Facebook App fail

Hi all ,the facebook app on my handset has suddenly stopped working .When you try to open it ,it begins to open but then quickly crashes/fails ,I have tried to uninstall and reinstall several times to no avail .I have even tried a soft reset ,does any one have an idea how to fix this .Thank you

Running into a similar issue with the 830 being very slow to post pictures to FB. It posts to Twitter in decent speed, but FB is painfully slow.

Mine does this maybe once per month, it normally opens ok on about the 10-15th time you try....
