Facebook Messenger for Windows to shut down on March 3

As someone who have gotten used to the messenger, I'm disappointed.
Is this a sign that Facebook is staying away from Microsoft or vice versa? What do you guys think?

Eh i already knew about it, thought you were overreacting and talking about metro version of fb

Its only the desktop app the metro app will still be supported
