Facebook Messenger live tiles not working properly, is it just me ?

When Messenger first came out, whenever someone messages me on facebook the live tiles will display that person's profile picture. Now, it just shows a pixelated version of the messenger icon on the live tile. Am i the only one who get this problem ? Is there any fix ?

I did that but no luck it's for windows 10 by the way, i forgot to mention that.

check for updates for the app and the worst case scenario is to reinstall it
