It brings back memories
I remember the worldseries in 1974 Munich
I was a little kid back then, my dad taped it from the radio with a old tapedeck, so we al had to be quiet during the final.
Oh, he had a hard time not to shout hahaha

For the present generation....a little wiki
Before mp3 players and cd's we had cassette tapes and walkmans





But before that we had real tapes

Yep, Had all Pioneer equipment back in the day... Loved the RT-10 reel-to-reel. hrs of music at 15 inches per second pretty good quality back then... much funner back then...

Good match. Two observations:
Gonzalo Higuain almost ruined the Germans triumph:-(
I don't feel bad that USA lost to Germany by a goal (after all that was the margin for the final as well!)

I liked the look on messi his face when he stood next to the German goalkeeper for the ( well deserved) special award the golden ball and the golden gloves

lol yeah. You could tell just how much he didn't want to be there. It may have just been more appropriate to have a separate awards night or something. Especially considering the golden boot wasn't awarded that day. I think it would have made more sense to have them all awarded together.
