Files disappearing when OneDrive backs up

[Windows Central Question]

We have discovered some folders each time OneDrive backs up that completely disappear from OneDrive and from our PC. We've had this problem since we started using OneDrive on Windows 10. We don't trust it to back up our PC anymore, and now we back up to external flash drives until we can figure what is happening. We have lost some important pictures and documents which were difficult to recreate or locate other copies. HELP

Hi Welcome to Windows Central. Sorry to hear you have lost important pictures and documents. I can't fix One Drive. The only thing I can do is introduce you to Recuva which might help you recover some of your lost data and pictures.
