Finally, an app that can play .mkv files

For some reason, Mobile.HD is very sporadic in when it chooses to play .mkv file on our Surface 2, and when it does not.

Thankfully, I've just come across Yxplayer Pro, which allows you to do just that.

There's a Pro version and a HD version, however I don't know what the difference is, as both have a free trial and an option to purchase - the HD version being a lot more expensive.

Anyway, I downloaded the Pro version, and you can find it in the Store here:

PowerDVD has always been capable of playing .MKV

I use Mobile.HD for a long time and never got any Issue playing my .mkv's.

This app is pricey. And it has a bad rating but it doesn't seem its for the price. I'll wait on VLC to make a move.
