Firmware update for Lumia 930 nad almost no sound if recording

Hi guys! Need some help! I'm not a quite technician, so I must ask you for help.
I have a Lumia 930 (RM-1045_1074), Win10, with firmware version 02540.00019.14522.26003.
I found today some older news about firmwares, and i found something about version 02540.00019.15235.40008, wich was rolled out in December last Year. I did't get an update info, so how I see, mine is really old one.
Do I have to update the firmware, and how, if I will?

A second problem... There is almost no sound when I record a video, or if I want to make and audio recording.
Had someone the same problem?

Firmware - You don't 'have' to update it, but you may get better stability by updating. To update you would need to use the 'Windows Device Recovery Tool'.

The sound problem is a known issue with microphones on the Lumia 930.
Try searching the Lumia 930 forums as there are lots of posts regarding the problem.

Firmware - You don't 'have' to update it, but you may get better stability by updating. To update you would need to use the 'Windows Device Recovery Tool'.

One more thing! If I try to update, can I make some something wrong, or it's a "easy-thing" with the Recovery Tool?

It is straight forward. One thing to note is that it will wipe your phone, so make sure you have done a backup before updating.

On the topic - which firmware version is the lastest? this ...15235.40008 ? As I checked mine - 02540.00019.15236.45005, wondering if worth updating.

Regional differences exist in firmware versions. In California, my 930 firmware is 02540.00019.15053.26005. That is also the latest firmware available to me through the WDRT. No later FW has ever been offered to me through Update Phone setting. (I'm running the latest Insider Fast Ring Anniversary Update on the 930 with no obvious problems.)

As long as we are talking FW, let me express the wish that double-tap-to-sleep (available from the start on the 950 series phones) could also be enabled on the 930. DTTW(ake) has been a major positive for me on the 930, and I wish I could shut the 930 down as easily with the double hit on the Nav Bar. It was a major up for the 950s when the new firmware for that model enabled DTTW. All Lumias should be able to go both ways.

Well, mine 930 has DTTW as long as I can remember using W10. Maybe you should try to find a way for firmware update?
