First Official Nokia Lumia 900 Photos

Looks good but I wonder about the price. Hard to justify a 2 year contract plus maybe $250.

Hope they understand that most people aren't willing to spend that much for a phone - they need to compete with the "free" HTC Inspire 4G and Samsung Infuse Android phones and iPhone 3GS.

If this thing is $100 or less, you'll have a ton of people jump on it.

It would have to certainly be price competitive w/ the iphone and other "high-end" Androids, otherwise, there's no significant incentive for a loyal iphone or Android owner to switch. We'll see what AT&T prices it at.

Elop said they were going to be "aggressive" on price, so here is hoping it is like $100-$150. I see no reason why it couldn't be priced in that range, there are Android and iPhone's that are smilillarly spec'd at similar prices on AT&T (like the iPhone 4 and the Moto Atrix 2)

looks really nice. I wish they could have kept the curved glass, that was the real stunner

In the video, are the demonstrator's hands really small or is the 900 really that big? If so, how the heck is one supposed to get that into a pocket??? Its huge! For me, I need something smaller. Not tiny, but smaller than this huge device.

Pretty much summarises why they're releasing the 'series' of phones. Maybe the 800 would be better suited to you. :)

Her hands must be small, a 4.3" phone isn't hard to put in your pockets at all. Unless your a female/male who wears tight pants.

FYI, this is just a statement, not saying anything negative.

Looking at the dimensions, this is barely larger than the original Samsung Focus with a screen that is 0.3" larger

Focus:124.7 x 64.3 x 9.9
Lumia 900: 127.8 x 68.5 x 11.5 mm

So unless 4mm each way blows out your pocket I don't see why people are complaining. Go for the 3.7" Lumia 800 (or Radar, or Focus Flash) if you want a smaller form factor

Nope, don't wear tight pants, but I am AM trying to lose weight so my pockets would get smaller. ;)

I don't think you'll have a problem with the phone fitting into your pants. If you go on youtube, there are videos of a guy just trying to put large phones into his pants pockets. He was able to get a Galaxy Note "5.3 inch" phone into his pocket.
