Fitbit connects with bluetooth but cant be found by fitbit app

has anyone connected the Fitbit blaze to the x3 ?
I can connect my blaze to the x3 via Bluetooth, but the Fitbit app can never "find" the blaze. I can connect to Fitbit to my computer and sync fine, but I'm hoping that the GATT server will come soon and I want to be able to use the x3 to connect directly to the Fitbit blaze.

I have similar problem with Charge HR. Sometimes never found. Sometimes found but sync never completes. Sometimes completes but takes forever.

I found that my problem was being too close to my laptop Bluetooth, I read on the Fitbit forum that being to close to another Bluetooth can cause problems. I just walked away from my laptop and it sync'd perfect, and has ever since.
