Flash Disabled In Camera App

I just took a picture and it was too dark so I turned the flash on and it didn't flash.
I looked at the screen and there is a little flash icon with a line through it.
Anyone else with this problem?

At the risk of sounding snide, I did say that I turned the flash on.
The LED is working for my flashlight app.
I'm nor sure what's up.

Is the battery low, and Battery Saver mode turned ON? If yes, that's the issue, Flash in Camera doesn't work when in Battery Saver mode. Many people have reported this problem earlier, and that is by design...not good, but that's how it is.

Oh ok. I know that if the line is through the flash icon, it means flash is disabled. Like the post above, your phones battery is low, which disables the flash.

My battery was probably low (it was at night).
I have Battery Saver disabled, though (unless it enables itself when low and disables itself when charged).
I just checked, again, and the flash is working, again.
I did a search for "8x flash" and didn't see anything about this (I didn't want to put "8x led" or I'd get all the notification threads).

If your battery is 24% or below the 8X will automatically disable flash when taking pictures.
