Flash stopped operating after 8.1 GDR1 update on Lumia 1020

Anybody else experienced the same catastrophic event like me ?? Bought this phone for its camera and with no flash , it's almost like half dead. I am using Developer Preview on 1020 with GDR1 8.1

Any troubleshooting suggestions would be highly appreciated.
