Flash Transfer needed for Windows Phone 8.1

Just wondering, but wouldn't this app here work for you guys? PhotoShare WiFi | Windows Phone Anwendungen + Spiele Store (Deutschland)

It's only for photos though, but it's at least a start.

This app requires external WiFi as well, where the hell are you gonna get this for example while travelling or on your school grounds...
Do check out how the thing works in android, IT DOES NOT REQUIRE EXTERNAL WIFI CONNECTION...

I've looked at the SDK and no, its supported on all phones running WP8.1, at least so far that's what I've dug into.

For those interested. I have gone through the SDK and actually found a sample from Microsoft for Windows 8.1 and copying it over to a WP8.1 project and so far no issues. Will have to wait for wife to come home tonight with her phone and see if I can get a working demo going.

Not sure. Tried between my laptop and phone and that was a no go so now just waiting on wife's phone so I can try between two phones and see if it works.

Sadly, it isn't working yet and I've come to the conclusion that its not all phones. My wife and I only have 521's and I don't have access to another phone to test.

Third party app is a one of option available.... But I don't see apps similar to "Flash Transfer"...

Apps are available like mobile to PC transfer, but anyway we can transfer mobile stuff through data cable to PC and vice versa......

Guys... Try "easy transfer" app for windows phone... It's very fast I think...

U can use any software to host a server but i prefer "HFS SERVER"

Hi All,

i just have found one software called "Software Data Cable" on windows phone store, here is the link;

i used this app on Android Phone where software enables a network and others have to connect this through WiFi...
its amazing (file transfer rate is approx 1-2 Mbps)

can anyone tell me is it available for Windows 8 too.
