flickering while scrolling

It does not solve anything, Do you have 925? any issues? i hate my mobile because of these issues... it looks like it happened when scrolling content that contains lots of images, the issue is major... people does not give many feedback about their 925...

No I dont have the 925, but some people were experiencing the same issue after updating to GDR2 and Amber. They kept digging until they found out that the "double tap to awake" feature for glance was the problem.

I noticed this issue from day 1 on my 925. It is most prominent when I am in the multitasking view (holding back button). Scrolling side to side produces choppiness on the app tiles.

Yes, I notice that too if I do the scrolling slowly.... Looks like some kind of bad refresh rates. And the choppiness is happening on the top of each image snapshot, no any other places.

I did happened to me few times but it does it for about a second or two and really its pretty much unnoticeable but I literally was starring at the screen and waiting for it to happen is not something that bothers me anyway. I'm still loved up with my L925

Currently facing the same strange "issue" with my brand new 925.
Can't say if this hardware or software related ...
That's a shame because coming from a Nexus 4 I really love this phone, its camera and the WP OS.
Does anyone have a replaced unit and can confirm it did not (or did) solve the problem ? Thanks guys.

EDIT : ok, just read the bug/defects thread, so this is an amoled-related issue (for the blurry text) and maybe a software issue for this glitch/tearing as my screen is nearly perfect otherwise ... well I'll deal with it I guess, waiting for an hypothetical fix.

I have the choppiness when scrolling horizontally in the multitasking view as well... but only sometimes. It seems intermittent. I have double tap to wake turned on and sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't. There doesn't seem to by any rhyme or reason as to why it happens.

Thanks mate, so replacing my unit won't solve anything as this is a "normal" issue.

I too experienced that and so to get rid of it i did reset ?( this is just a try )
and the problem has completely gone but after installing nokia related apps then again flickering while scrolling in multitask view is back...
May be the updates of settings have triggered the issue...This is just a guess....
Anyone tried resetting the phone?If so does the problem is still there?

hey guys! on my start screen twitter app kept going from light blue to a bit darker brightness blue when i scroll up, so i unpined it and boom the flickering and everything stops, i think it has to do with how your phone deals with the variety of colours on one screen to another, my advice, reset your phone, also try changing accent colour and stuff like that

I have a Lumia 720 and a 925 and the flickering/stuttering while scrolling particularly in WP Central app and 6Tag is much more noticeable on my 925 than my 720, you'd think it would be the other way about! Very annoying issue, seriously considering going back to my L720.

I've noticed this, too. It's not that bad, IMO, though I never noticed this issue on my 920.

Always happens to me on my 920. Happens when I start scrolling be it vertically like in settings or app list or horizontally like in multitasking view or scrolling photos. It's like as I touch the screen to scroll, there happens a small earthquake on the screen, it flickers a bit and then scrolls. When I bought the phone it was on GDR1 but this issue was not there, I guess. I don't remember actually cause just 2 days after I bought my phone, Amber update appeared and I updated my phone. And it is not resolved in Amber nor in Black. It gives me shivers everytime it happens. And sadly this is why I can't say WP is as smooth as iOS. Hope WP8.1 solves it. I'm not gonna get my phone replaced, cause it takes 15-20 days here. It's just too much difficult living without my phone.. Guess I'll have to live with it and hope my next phone will be super smooth.

I have the same issue on my 925. It's not terrible but it is noticeable. Hopefully, my next WP won't blur when scrolling.

I have that issue, but only when its in battery saver mode. Anyone knows how to fix it?
