For Those With Issues Upgrading to Build 10166 (boot loop, :-( loop)

Hey all,
When I first tried to upgrade my phone to the newest build, I had just about finished installing, based on the progress bar, when it gave me the sad face of doom. What I discovered was that my phone was really, really hot. I got my IR thermometer out and clocked it at 126F. Probably not conducive to a phone operating properly.

I surmised that my phone was constantly overheating as it was trying to reinstall the build, creating a vicious cycle or rebooting.

My suggestion to those who have issues is to ventilate the phone somehow (the back of it) or put it on an icepack or something. I did the icepack thing on my third try and it worked like a charm. Something with this build must take longer than usual and use more CPU power. Let me know how it goes!

Best of luck,
DrPuppy (where's the puppy emoji, Windows Central?)
