We are getting allot of little request these days to add functions to our Site,

I know we are currently adding allot and that Dave and the others are all very busy, but I still think it’s a good idea to keep a LIST of possible improvements for the forum in the future


Forum Feature Request: ( feel free to add/remove Request from the list)

1. Add Twitter account to user profile ( like they have on Crackberry.com)
   
   
2. Add a Copy of the navigation option to the bottom of the page( easier access from a cell phone Browser (desktop view)
   
   
3. Default MAKE people input phone model and location on account creation.
   ( this is good for when people ask a Questions related to a SPECIFIC phone but we have no idea witch phone they are using or if it’s a location problem. ) if they don’t have a phone yet , then have them input the one they want!
   
   
4. Turn WPcentral into Windows Central = everything Windows (tablets ,WP , PC, Xbox )
   ( lol this is probably a BIG FAT NO! cause OMG that would be allot of work for us! lol )

1) Maybe, I will see but I can't do this myself so I am on someone else time schedule.
2) I guess I don't understand what we are looking for here just a jump to the top of the page button. Can we do without the next thread previous thread button.
3) NO! This will turn some people away from the forums
4) That domain name is already owned. If we re-brand we will have to pick a name that is not in use or we can buy. There might be some re branding at some point but don't get settled on a name just yet.

yeah im just listing what members where requesting

#2 , it just a request for people using the browser on the cellphone , it can be a pain to scroll back UP to the top of the page , but its not a biggy. they where asking for a TOP OF page button. w/e

4, yeah I thought this wasn't going to work ether , even if we dont re-brand the site name and just open SECTIONs for all the OS . we would have to get 10 new MODS , lol and a few more article writers for each OS ..

- Please add ability to report posts in mobile view.

so apparently if your on your phones browser and on MOBILE view ( not desktop ) you cant report a post!

I think this is something we should have for SURE!!!!!

this could be a cool feature , (probably useless work for our programers) but it could be cool.

under the amount of post you have if you had a timer of the amount of time you spend online

Already did this. Can you not see it? http://forums.windowscentral.com/profile.php?do=editprofile. Once you fill it out, it should display in the postbit link mine does.

This is on the todo list for all sites. It will be a while though & will be part of the single sign-on implementation -- which is a pretty big project.

As Dave mentioned, I did this. I'm curious though, what's the next click-action someone would take once they go back to the top? Do they click the link to take them back to the thread list? That's why link navigation was added above the Quick Reply, so I'm just curious.

Any new features we add moving forward will be part of the vB4 project I'm working on.
