FULL LCD Replacement Options?

I have a friend who purchased a Lumia Icon from ebay broken. His screen is barely chipped in the bottom right corner. The phone shows no display and just vibrates when plugged in USB. I am contemplating replacing the LCD assembly for him. What are your guys reccomendations of buying the screen vs paying a repair shop to replace it? Do you have any places yall would reccomend?

changing / repairing it at a repair shop won't do good for long time. i had personal experience.
changing the lcd only and not the assembly, shall result into damaged display after a while, may be 3-4 months.
the money u spend will be waste.
rather, though costly, go to Nokia Care and replace the complete assembly.
