whast the cheapest way to get it? i have have windows 7 laptop but i dont wanan spend alot on win 8 cause i bought a surface so most likely wont use the laptop that much if i could get it really cheap i would upgrade it also.

Installing it on my mom's computer through the $15 deal. Going to pick up a boxed copy for myself tomorrow. Won't be able to install it until maybe next week though as I need a new charger and need to put some more ram in my old XP laptop. Next year when I grab a cloverfield convertible can't come soon enough.

Guys what makes you upgrade to Win 8 right now?

I mean how old is your hardware? Will you be investing in new hardware soon? Or using the same one for a few years and hence the upgrade?

I wanted to see if I was impulse buying this!

I have Win 7 Ultimate x64 bit. Microsoft Web only offer Windows 8 Pro. Will WIN8 Pro offer x64 at check out? Just wondering.
