Getting error code after updating to 7.8

I just got my upgrade to Windows 7.8 on my Nokia Lumia 900. Once the update was complete, I was notified of another upgrade from Nokia. I have tried several times now, but every time I try for that last upgrade, it says its unsuccessful, and gives me the error code 8018001E. Any clue as to what this means or why? My current firmware is 2175.1003.8112.12085.

Restart phone after the update and wait for sometime before plugging it in to Zune.

Do you have the same issue before? I did follow your instruction, but it seems not working at all. I think the problem is the Firmware because I did contact with AT&T, Nokia, and even Microsoft,...BUT no way to solve this ...Cram...

I had a 900, currently being used by my father. I never had issues with it. Now i am on a 920 though. Why don't you try flashing using NCS?

windows phone update went fine. this "NOKIA Update for Windows Phone" is erroring. It seems to be trying to do "Transferring Updates" but is on 0% the whole time, until it errors with ERROR CODE: C1010009

have you tried restoring from the zune backup and loading the update again?

This would be my recommendation. That's why that backup is made. It will restore the phone, and then allow you to start the update process from scratch.
