Glance and mixed sms and calls

Just got yellow 1020 sunday so far so god.
Maybe i am overlooking this or wont do this but using glance can't i see missed calls and sms for a certain period of time?
Or is glance ONLY the clock?

Right now it seems to only display clock, vibrate (if on vibrate) and charging (when plugged in).
