got GDR2 update notification for my nokia lumia 520

Hmm It may take a few days to trickle up the lumia range? I just checked for an update on my L920 under phone update in settings and said no update available. Eagerly awaiting the OP's update haha.

On you PC, download fiddler2 and follow the instructions here so that when you download the update, fiddler2 will capture the link.

I was referring to the WP OS update.
The pushing update mechanism is based on regions, tiers to be more exactly. Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4, Tier 5, Tier 6 and I think Tier 7.
India is Tier 7.
Don't be mad at me, this is how MS sees the world, and not only MS, others too, like Sony, Samsung, HTC etc.
I am talking here only about FW and OS updates.
