Bro You might have received an update for your offline maps. If there is an update available for your maps then once you tap on update map option, it takes you to The Main "check for update" page under Settings page. And it will reboot 1 or 2 times the way it does during an Firmware upgrade. It happened to me too last week (And yessss I Am from India too).
8.0.10211.204 came with my Lumia 820 when i bought it 4 months back :smile:
This is It. It cant be The GDR 2 upgrade. We can expect This update in the 2nd week of August 2013.

OP is right. he has 8.0.10211.204 but that's not GDR2, infact 8.0.10327.77 this is. I'm also from India running L520 and have 8.0.10211.204.

quite obvious. Indian market is the biggest, and Nokia dont want to lose its business by releasing buggy updates in India. hence the testing is done in US & EU

It says I have os version 8.0.10328.78
revision # 3046.0000.1329.2001

can someone let me know if this is the amber update?

Hi,

Yep, you surely do have the Amber update judging by the information you have posted. Also, if ever we have to send our phone in for repairs the Nokia repair center will nearly always update the phones software to the latest available OS/Firmware as part of the service.
