Groove music VS Zune

Look another wall of crying text. Use Groove or something else but get over Zune already. It's gone.

Zune might be dead, but not even Microsoft can let go since the folder Groove Music is put in is called Microsoft.ZuneMusic with Movies & TV in Microsoft.ZuneVideo.

I caved.

My Groove subscription is good until 2017, so I tried really hard to make Groove my default music player on my desktop. Sadly, I just can't. It seems like I'm always having some sort of problem with it. Now I'm back on Zune and I'm so glad the software just works. It's not in need of some critical update to make it usable. It's usable now. All the features I want are ready now.

Sure, I'll still use Groove if I want to listen to an album with DRM, and the only songs I keep are the songs I purchase. But once they're purchased and downloaded to my hard drive then Zune steps in.

I hate to bring a old thread back to life. But man I wish for once Microsoft would cut out groove and bring zune into windows 10 and on mobile. I had a zune 8gb long ago. Maybe one day ill buy a zune hd as a collection. :)
