60D's sensor tech is ... nearly 4 years old?

Plus if testing the resolution - then Canon's file could be raw processed - there is headroom. Secondly I'm not sure why they used 17-85 lens on 60D?! it's performance is only okay / flawed at wide angle. Like it or not low/mid-range zoom lens doesn't stand a chance against 1020's fixed lens design; using a newer 15-85mm would be much better comparison.

That said 1020 is pretty stunning. Hope edge sharpness is upto scratch too.
