Try the following:

1. Make sure you are in a place where you have a good wi-fi connection with strong range
2. Set the date and time correctly on the phone
3. Make sure wifi is not cutting out when phone is checking for update by preventing the screen from timing out by touching on the screen every few minutes while the update check is happening

i have tried it but stil getting error with error code 80072ee2

ok ay so i have flashed the pre- portico rogers rom fine now i am trying to flash the rm-820 rogers Amber GDR2 rom and i keep getting this error:

0xFA001304: Platform ID check fails. Reason(s): The FFU file is not meant for this product. The platform ID of image does not match with platform ID of the device.

Flash the Rogers ROM, product code 059Q6W4. Flashing the Indian ROM will kill your LTE, Rogers ROM won't

Well, I have successfully updated to GDR2/Amber now. Since I was already on RM-821, I have directly downloaded the available GDR2 firmware from Nokia Care Suite and flashed it to my 920. Best part is I was able to restore my phone completely with out any issues by using the mobile data.

I did face this problem, but I have selected the open product option from the file menu and selected RM-821 (Nokia Lumia 920), then somehow it showed me the same firmware details which I was trying to download earlier and allowed me to download the same. I am not sure if this has really worked or it was just a co-incidence but you can give a try.

I would not recommend you flash an RM-821 ROM since you are on AT&T - I read somewhere in the forum that after flashing an rm-821 rom, you can flash the phone back to an rm-820 by flashing the pre portico rogers rom, but I have not tried this.

try the rogers rom first. Are there any problems with the AT&T dev rom? If you do flash the rogers rom, please do let us know if you are still able to use Nokia music unlimited on your phone with the rogers rom.

I was talking about GDR2 Indian version. You can definitely download a Spanish GDR2 firmware if its is available.

I was talking about GDR2 Indian version. You can definitely download a Spanish GDR2 firmware if its is available.

Guys, i'm not from AT&T, i have a Argentinian White Lumia 920, it's RM-820, what i was is to install GDR2 oficial and not this AT&T Dev Rom that i flashed, so if i flash Pre Portico ROM (Rogers 820 ROM) and then Indian or Spanish GDR2 Amber ROM it'll be ok? All i want is to have oficial Amber GDR2 and spanish language.

Can any body tell me what this error means " Changing device mode failed (222). Unable to switch to uefi mode|NokiaSoftwareUpdaterForRetail.Connectivity|Wait for Uefi mode change, timeouted.|NokiaSoftwareUpdaterForRetail.Connectivity".

This error code i got from the error log file while flashing L620 device and upgrading it from 1030.6407.1308.0001 to 1030.6407.1308.0002 (GDR1).

In india, now the amber + GDR2 update is available only to those L620 devices which is having the firmware 1030.6407.1308.0002. So i tried to flash my phone and try to upgrade it to 1030.6407.1308.0002.

While upgrading it is generating an error code and telling upgrade is failed due to above mentioned reason.

Do you have visual C++ 2005 installed in your sysyem? If no, please try uninstalling NCS, installing Visual C++ Redistribute 2005 (link) and then re-install NCS

That one worked for me, thanks! After installing Visual C++ Redistribute 2005, the Fuse error disappeared.

Your best bet would be to flash your phone to the Rogers CA 920 GDR2 ROM, it supports LTE and gets timely updates. The Indian ROM doesn't have LTE enabled and AT&T Dev ROM doesn't get updated frequently.

Instead of flashing your phone, why don't you try checking for an OTA update - maybe it'll update to 1030.6407.1308.0002 firt, and then after checking for update again you will get gdr2
If that dosen't work, try searching in NCS/Navifirm if Indian 620 GDR2 rom is on the server - if it is, you can directly flash it to your phone
BTW you might get more help if you post your query in the 620 threads, as fellow 620 owners might have faced the same problem.

Thanks pal! Forgot that a couple of posts above you posted that already, searched for the white one, downloaded it and flashed it! Rogers Amber working just fine, got rid of the rogers crapware and installed all the apps.
