Has anyone been able to use Cortana using UK settings?

Cortana using UK settings

Has anyone been able to use cortana on W10 tp (10166) with UK set as default language, region and speech?
the tile and name shows cortana but it has no functions .... it's simply bing search with the name 'Cortana'.....

Yes, I've been using Cortana on Windows 10 here in the UK for what seems like ever.

A couple of things to check:
* You have Cortana enabled (hit the hamburger menu in the top left of the search screen and select "settings".
* You're old enough. From memory, you need to be 13 or older to use Cortana. The age setting will be in your Microsoft Account (http://account.live.com). It's worth checking there as it's fairly easy to skip over this detail when creating a Microsoft Account.
