Has anyone else noticed a subtle change in colour recently?

I only noticed this last night - it may have been there previously but because it's a subtle change it might have passed me by: has the colour profile subtly changed since Lumia Cyan or 8.1?

I have my Lumia 925's accent colour set to cyan, and I'm about 70% certain that this colour has lightened in the past day or two.

I haven't noticed this with any other colours but in particular I'm looking at the wi-fi button in the Notification Centre and the colour which momentarily appears when I type in my password.

Has anyone else noticed a subtle change in colour recently?

I don't have cyan on my device. Can you also confirm for cobalt colour ? I am using windows phone 8.0 on my lumia 920. If you want I can attach colour palet screenshot.

You know what I think has happened? - and this is potentially a bit embarrassing...

I think my accent colour was previously set to cobalt (which I think was the default colour because I don't recall ever changing it) and it has somehow been changed to cyan.

I've never personally changed the accent colour, and when I first noticed this lighter hue last night I looked at the settings, saw "cyan" and thought it made sense as cyan was a very Nokia colour (eg, I previously had the cyan Lumia 800 - there was no "cobalt Lumia 800"). But since you mentioned cobalt, I just went and changed my accent colour to cobalt and voila! Exactly as I'd expect it to look.

And in fact, I've just booted-up my old 800 and its colour is set to cobalt. Therefore, cobalt was probably the default and was probably the colour my 925 was set to.

So somehow, my phone's accent colour has been changed from cobalt to cyan without input from me.

I too have cobalt as my accent colour across all my devices and yes it was the default one on my device :winktongue: :smile:

The cobalt accent colour has annoyingly got lighter. Before 8.1, it was my favourite colour to use, now I don't use it at all.
