Has the new updates to WP8 help the ICON to run on other GSM carriers?

I am checking in to see if the Icon has overcome the problems involve in using it with other carriers such as: AT&T and T-Mobile. When I read the post in May; there were some problems with SMS and MSS functions along with placing voice calls.

How does the Icon run on other carriers now?

Nope. MMSC field is still blocked... and even if we use tools to retrieve the settings for MMSC it doesn't work.

...and not much we can do about losing LTE except wait for the international version (930). Personally, I've already got myself a 1520, and plan to sell the Icon the first moment I can get away from work.
