I've had a handful of crashes since the update (Focus). They occur at odd times. For example, exiting the camera app (the screen went blank except for clock and battery meter -- no feedback from any of the buttons, had to pull the battery), sending a text (screen froze, then the phone auto-rebooted), opening the Marketplace (app crashed, screen locked up, no response from any buttons, had to pull the battery).

Battery life has only gone down faster due to my increased usage/playing with the phone since the update. It hasn't decreased significantly enough for me to believe it's due to anything else other than me using the phone more. Plus, the battery saver makes a huge difference.
