having trouble in using wifi internet over sim internet

I have an unlimited wireless internet at my home, so i prefer using this internet over the 3G internet provided by my sim provider. So while i connect to my wireless net and use youtube app to browse videos , the app uses my 3G net instead. So to avoid this when i use the app turning data connection off, it does not connect to the net. I tried doing the same using the UC browser but got the same result. So can plz anyone help me to configure my phone to use the wireless net instead of 3G when i'm connected to wifi.
