HDMI in...... Uses thread

So you're saying I can watch free OTA TV broadcasts via Windows Media Center on my PC, then use a USB IR blaster to connect it to the Xbox One, and then I can use Xbox's OneGuide feature, including voice controls, to view the TV lineup and change channels? Or am I misinterpreting what you guys are talking about?

That's correct, but you'll need to hook your PC up to the Xbox via HDMI and if you don't have it setup as a dedicated media center then it'll be less than ideal. The media center PC will basically need to be always on the media center interface. Now that's how it SHOULD work, but I'll verify it when mine comes in today.

Damn. I was hoping to use my older laptop, which doesn't have an HDMI port. Maybe there is some type of VGA to HDMI converter that can also pull audio.
