Heavy Battery Drain Lumia 520 after updating to 8.1 Lumia Cyan Update [Official in india]

Hello everyone, did anyone updated their Lumia 520 via NSU ?

Just opne Battery Saver from the list , choose filter " Running in background " and block all apps from running in background except important ones like Whatsapp . For me Cortana is the biggest battery drain .

Yes - managing the battery usage does seem to help a lot. Im not a power ueser by any means and dont play games really but I get a full days use out of the phone making calls and texting and could probably go two whole days. I think people dont realize that constantly using the phone or having data/wifi/apps running in the background all the time does eat up the battery.

Battery saver is a false indicator
