Hello 920 & 1020 users, Help me decide

Great to see you're getting the advice you need. If the Icon is out of the question, I'd say that the 1020 is newer and has a better camera.

Real world camera difference between the 920 and the 1020 is not much, unless you're a camera buff. The 920 image stabilization is still one of the best in industry, comparable to the 1020, though the 1020 is slightly better due to more springs in the camera lens than the 920. Battery is more or less the same for both the phones since 1020 uses less power due to the amoled but if you're a camera buff, the 1020 camera would suck the battery like juice, the 920 build is better than the 1020, it's a rock! The 920 would get all the system and OS updates as the 1020.

To put it together, if you are tight on budget, get the 920 and you won't complain, if you have extra money, go for the 1020 and you still won't complain, lol ��

Lumia 1020 does not have springs for stabilizations , ball bearings are used in Lumia 1020

1020 for sure. The 1020 is basically a 920 with a better camera and twice the RAM

I have a 920 and if I had the budget for the 1020 back then, I'd get that in a heartbeat.
